Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-11-05
This policy explains what information Free Discretes ("we," "us") collects when you use this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. Free Discretes is operated by the Free Discretes team.
Information we collect
- No accounts. You do not need to sign up, and we do not ask for your name, email, or school to use the question bank.
- Practice progress. Your answers and progress are stored in your own browser using local storage. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is deleted if you clear your browser data or select "Reset my progress."
- Analytics. We may use privacy-focused analytics (such as Plausible Analytics) to count page views and see which topics are popular. This service does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. Data is reported to us only in aggregate.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to respond.
Advertising
This site is free because it shows ads served by Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link in that message.
How we use information
We use aggregate analytics to decide which questions to write and to fix problems with the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your practice answers for anything other than showing your own progress on your device.
Your choices and rights
- Clear your browser's local storage or use "Reset my progress" to delete practice data.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The question bank works without them.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information or to opt out of targeted advertising. Contact us at discretefree@gmail.com to make a request.
Children
This site is intended for students preparing for the MCAT and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted on the home page.
